GenCo Legal Team®
Revolutionizing The Lawyering Experience™
Bryan Rotella Esq., is recognized nationwide as The Lawyer Differently Lawyer™. The business of law desperately needed a legal industry disrupter to turn the antiquated, broken billable hour on its head and adapt to the consumer-focused 21st century. This is the time when the ease and transparency of the “user” experience with any service is the ultimate judge and jury on how customers determine value.
With this in mind, Bryan founded GenCo Legal® (www.gencolegal.com) to be the industry disrupting law firm that understands for businesses tired of endlessly running meters – It’s Time to Lawyer Differently®.
What’s so different about GenCo? The Budgeted Hour®, a first of its kind subscription fee model built on a budget of monthly legal support, that proactively protects a business from its most important day-to-day as well as long-term risks. Simply, it is everything the dreaded billable hour is not. Bryan instilled his 20 years of experience as a prior trial lawyer and General Counsel to billion-dollar businesses into GenCo’s method of attacking the risks its clients most often face while also practicing “preventive law™”. These consistent challenges all businesses face range from contract issues to adherence with regulations and people problems. For close to a decade, GenCo’s team has successfully brought The Budgeted Hour® to hundreds of businesses of all types serving as their one-stop full service legal department.
When not leading GenCo’s disruption of the traditional legal servicing model, Bryan is seen regularly on national media as a legal analyst and commentator, explaining a variety of hot topics in the world of law in lay terms, not legal jargon.
Bryan looks forward to connecting and encouraging you to join GenCo’s revolution, as we change the legal industry and the negative feeling most consumers attribute to lawyers in general while we’re at it.

Hayley enjoys the day to day challenge of being an innovative taskmaster. While functioning in a lead support role to Bryan and our team, Hayley is no stranger to the practice of law. She learned about the legal industry from her mother who owned her own law firm in Hayley’s native, Vermont. Oftentimes, dinner table conversations revolved around the stress and relentless pressure of the billable hour, where Hayley realized how impersonal this tradition was and vowed to never live the same nightmare by pursuing the legal industry as a career.
After working in a variety of administrative support positions, Hayley found herself searching for a business defined by purpose. That’s when she learned about GenCo’s progressive model and instantly fell in love with the Budgeted Hour® and how it is revolutionizing how lawyers utilize their clients’ time.
Hayley nobly and unselfishly assists managing partner Bryan Rotella, on all facets of his day to day interface with our valued clients and leadership of the firm. In addition, Hayley guides our firm’s efforts to maintain a Virus Safe Workspace™, taking the innovative role of our “Wellness Champion.” Additionally, Hayley is invaluable in our active recruiting processes, searching for more like-minded legal industry revolutionaries. Her relentless leadership also manifests in making sure all on our team embrace the positive workplace culture that truly understands It’s Time to Lawyer Differently®.
Hayley is more than happy to assist any current or future GenCo client or team member.

EDUCATION
When I first started at GenCo Legal®, I was a summer intern. I spent much of my time waiting for the Amazon delivery man, and observing coworkers from my preferred supine position laying in their laps; fascinating, but ultimately unfulfilling.
Without my parents knowledge I decided to attend canine Law School online, looking for a career that would lead me to “unleash” my full potential.
Upon graduating, and passing the “bar-k”, I returned to GenCo as a consultant, sitting in as the General-Hound-sel. The part of my role I enjoy most is leading the Lawyer Differently Recruiting Committee, where I greet all candidates. My favorite thing about working at GenCo is the “paw-some” culture they have created. Life is no longer “ruff” as I am excited to assist our clients by helping their lawyers like being lawyers, with my unparalleled emotional support talents. Additionally, I get to work closely with my father on his future vision for the firm and appreciate my mother’s impeccable taste in office décor.
